The Owners

Hi, we're Lynwood and Brenda Moyer and we've been married for over 50 years. We believe in marriage and want to provide all our couples with one of the best days of their lives. We are so excited for you to have your wedding at our venue! We designed the venue ourselves and had our son build it. When we were deciding what to name it, we chose to combine our two names - the name "Brenwood" was born! We put our heart and soul into each wedding at our venue and can't wait for you to see what we have to offer.

The 
Venue

The perfect venue for all your favorite people under one roof. Spectacular lake views nestled in the Shenandoah Valley and accommodations to fit all your event needs. We can't wait to show you what we offer!

​Our Venue

  • Open year-round venue with air conditioning and heating for your convenience

  • Seating for up to 200 guests

  • Two outside ceremony site options  and an inside backup ceremony site 

  • Site rental of venue

    • 25 - 60 inch round tables

    • 21 - 6ft. rectangle tables

    • 5 - cocktail tables

    • 2 - 30 inch round tables

    • 400 Padded folding chairs for indoor/outdoor use for the convenience of setting up for your event

    • Use of Catering kitchen, which includes a large commercial refrigerator, 3 compartment sink, 10ft stainless work table and stainless counter with wall receptacles, stove/oven, and microwave.

    • Pass-thru bar window with sliding barn door

    • Portable bar for use inside or outside on the patio

    • Stone fireplace with electric insert. Above the cedar mantel is a heart in stone

    • Stamped concert floor with board design

    • Large dressing rooms for the bride and groom with their own private restrooms

    • Two restrooms for guests, 3 stalls each. One handicap stall in each restroom

  • A staff member will be present on the day of your event.

  • Lodging is available close by

  • Wooded area with benches for a ceremony in woods

  • Lawn games available 

  • Optional fireworks show to end the night

Outside our venue:

  •  Large side patio 24’x40’ which connects to front patio 20’x84' with string lights around patios

  • Out on the lawn is a rock garden and flower area for pictures

  • Large fire pit with seating. Wood provided

  • Perfect setting for your special day with a gazebo overlooking a small lake with mountain views. Water fountain with lights in lake

  • Another option for ceremony in the wooden area with log benches

  • Play area with swings for children and log swings for adults

  • Picnic shelter with stone wood burning fireplace with seating for 45 guests, also a great spot for reheral dinners!

Our On-Site Cabins

On-site lodging walking distance from our event venue. Ask us about availability!

​The Little Al Cabin 

  • The Little Al Cabin is a beautiful two bedroom (with rustic log queen beds) and 1 bath cabin in Stanley, Va, in the heart of the Shenandoah Valley and Blue Ridge Mountains

  • This cabin is perfect for a romantic getaway, honeymoon or family vacation

  • The Little Al cabin is great for just relaxing on the covered front porch rocking in the rocking chairs or star gazing from the hot tub

  • Enjoy a DVD movie or Satellite TV by the peaceful ambiance of the electric fireplace

  • The cabin is completely furnished and linens are provided at no extra charge. Enjoy a campfire with the wood provided at no extra charge

  • Try your luck fishing at the two-acre pond and have a picnic at the picnic shelter and swing on the log swings. Children will love the play set

  • $245 per night for to 2 guests (2 night minimum)

  • $25 for each additional guest per night

  • Sleeps up 6 guests

  • Dog friendly 50.00 per pet per night (2 dogs max)

  • Holidays- 3 night minimum

  • Rates do not include 10.3% tax

  • Cleaning fee 65.00

​The Lakeview Getaway Cabin​

  • For a relaxing treat in the picturesque Shenandoah Valley and Blue Ridge Mountains, come stay at Brenwood Rentals​

  • You will enjoy the lake, the breathtaking mountain ranges, and the wooded area surrounding our property.  Or how about unwinding and enjoying the hot tub?  Imagine sitting by the campfire roasting marshmallows and making s’mores looking out over the lake.  If you are lucky enough to be here on a full moon night, the sight of the moon reflecting in the lake is a sight to behold!

  • Our log lodge sleeps 12 guests in our wonderful escape and has a fully equipped kitchen

  • Our log lodge is perfect for a getaway for family or friends

  • Enjoy your morning coffee on the covered porch in the wooden glider or at the log kitchen table looking at the lake

  • Towels and linens are provided with no extra charge

  • 4 private bedroom with log queen beds and three and one half  bathrooms

  • There are two twins and one futon

  • 2 cozy living rooms and kitchen/dining areas
